DPF regeneration problems - 520d wont regen

My F10 520d keeps showing DPF warning light. The car tries to regen but never completes it. I think the DPF is too clogged. Dealer wants 3500 EUR for a new DPF. Is there a way to force a manual regen with ISTA? Or should I try a DPF cleaning service first? Ive heard about chemical cleaning that costs around 300 EUR.

Try a forced regen with ISTA first. If the DPF is too far gone, chemical cleaning is worth trying before spending 3500 on a new one. I had mine cleaned for 300 EUR and its been fine for 2 years.

at 180k km id just do the DPF delete honestly. youll spend 300 on cleaning and it might clog again in a year. delete is permanent solution
