Want to put a limited slip diff in my E46 330ci. Options seem to be:

  1. OEM M3 diff (type 210, 3.62 ratio)
  2. Quaife ATB
  3. Wavetrac
  4. Kaaz plate type

Car is used for track days and spirited driving. Which one would you recommend and why? Budget is flexible.

M3 diff is the cheapest option and works well. Just make sure you get the right ratio for your gearbox. 3.62 is good for track, 3.46 is better for street.

Quaife ATB is the best option for street/track combo. No maintenance, no preload adjustment needed, and it works great in all conditions. I have one in my E46 and love it.
