E90 325i N52 - common problems and what to look for

Thinking about buying an E90 325i with the N52 engine. What are the common problems I should look for? Budget is around 8000 EUR for a 2008-2010 model. Ive heard about: - Oil filter housing gasket leak - VANOS solenoid issues - Water pump failure Anything else? How expensive are these repairs?

water pump is another common failure on N52. its electric and costs about 500 EUR to replace. usually fails between 80-120k km

Oil filter housing gasket is the #1 issue on N52. Its a guaranteed leak, just a matter of when. Budget 300-400 EUR for the repair. Other than that, the N52 is solid.
