With EVs becoming more common, what happens to the tuning industry? Will there still be a market for ECU remaps and hardware mods in 10 years?

I think ICE cars will become like classic cars - enthusiasts will keep them alive and tuning will become even more niche and specialized.

EV tuning is starting to emerge but its mostly software-based. No more exhaust mods, turbo upgrades, or intake swaps.

What do you guys think? Is the golden age of tuning ending?

NBT EVO retrofit is the best interior upgrade you can do on an F30. The difference between the 6.5" and 8.8" screen is massive.

ICE tuning will be around for decades. Even if new car sales go fully electric, there are millions of ICE cars on the road that will need tuning and maintenance. The aftermarket for older BMWs is actually growing, not shrinking. EV tuning will develop its own niche but it will never replace the satisfaction of hearing a tuned inline-6 at full boost.
