G22 430i B48 - stage 1 results and review

Got my G22 430i tuned last week. B48 engine, stock 258hp. After stage 1 remap: 305hp and 420nm. The car feels much more alive now, especially in the midrange. Throttle response is sharper too. No issues so far after 500km. Fuel consumption went up slightly, maybe 0.5L/100km more in mixed driving. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a B48.

B48 responds well to tuning. 305hp from stage 1 is a solid result. The engine has a lot of headroom.

Nice results! The B48 is a great tuning engine. 305hp from a 2.0L turbo 4 is impressive. Did you notice any change in the exhaust note? Some B48 tunes add a bit more turbo whistle which I actually like.

I got similar numbers on my 430i. The 0.5L/100km increase in fuel consumption is typical for stage 1. If you drive normally, the consumption is actually the same as stock. It only goes up when you use the extra power. The B48 is very efficient even when tuned.
