Stage 1 on high mileage engine - safe?

My E90 325i has 230,000 km on the clock. Is it safe to do a stage 1 remap at this mileage? Engine runs fine, no issues, oil consumption is normal. But im worried the extra power might kill it. Anyone running a tune on a high mileage N52?

I tuned my E90 325i at 200k km. No issues after 30k km of tuned driving. The N52 is a strong engine. Just make sure the basics are in good shape - no oil leaks, good compression, fresh plugs.

The N52 doesnt make huge power from a tune anyway (maybe 15-20hp gain). So the stress increase is minimal. I wouldnt worry about it at all.
