DCT problems on F80 M3 - jerky at low speed

My F80 M3 DCT is really jerky at low speeds, especially in parking lots and stop-and-go traffic. Is this normal for DCT or is something wrong? The car has 45k km. Ive heard a TCU flash can help smooth out low speed behavior. Anyone tried this?

DCT jerkiness at low speed is normal to some extent. But a TCU flash can definitely help. xHP is a popular option for F80 M3 DCT tuning.

Some jerkiness at low speed is normal for DCT - its the nature of a dual-clutch gearbox. But if its really bad, a TCU flash can help a lot. The stock calibration prioritizes fuel economy over smoothness. A performance TCU tune smooths out the low-speed behavior while also making the shifts faster at higher speeds. Also make sure the DCT fluid has been changed - BMW recommends every 60k km.
