Manual gearbox rebuild cost - E46 M3 SMG to manual swap

Thinking about converting my E46 M3 from SMG to manual. The SMG pump is dying and replacement is expensive. How much does a full manual swap cost? I know I need the gearbox, pedal box, driveshaft, and some wiring changes. Anyone done this swap? How long did it take?

SMG to manual swap on E46 M3 costs about 3000-4000 EUR for parts and labor. Its a weekend job if you know what youre doing. Totally worth it though, the manual M3 is a different car.

I did the SMG to manual swap on my E46 M3. Total cost was about 3500 EUR including parts and labor. You need: manual gearbox (GS6-37BZ), clutch pedal assembly, flywheel, clutch kit, driveshaft, shift linkage, and some wiring changes. The swap took my mechanic about 12 hours. The car feels completely different now - so much more engaging to drive. Best mod I ever did.
