M2 G87 - 6 month ownership review

Had my M2 G87 for 6 months now. Quick review: The good: - S58 engine is phenomenal - Manual gearbox is great (yes I got the manual) - Compact size is perfect for B-roads - Looks are growing on me The bad: - Fuel consumption is terrible (15L/100km average) - Ride is harsh on bad roads - No wireless CarPlay (seriously BMW?) - Rear seats are useless Would I buy it again? Absolutely. Its the most fun car Ive ever owned. But its not a practical daily driver.

BMW paint has always been thin. Its a known issue across all models. PPF is the only real solution. Or just accept the stone chips as character.

Great review. I have the same car and agree with everything. The fuel consumption in the city is painful but on a B-road or track, nothing else comes close at this price point. One thing I would add - the stock Michelin PS4S tires are excellent but they wear fast if you do any spirited driving. Budget for a new set every 15-20k km.
