Transmission fault after TCU tune - ZF 8HP

Got my ZF 8HP TCU tuned and now getting intermittent "Transmission fault" warnings. The shifts are faster but sometimes the car hesitates when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Tuner says its normal and needs adaptation time. Its been 2 weeks though. Is this really normal or did something go wrong?

find a better tuner. a proper DPF delete should disable ALL related functions. if the tuner cant do this correctly, they shouldnt be offering the service

The tuner missed some DPF maps. On N47 you need to disable: DPF regen, DPF differential pressure monitoring, soot content calculation, and exhaust temp monitoring. If any of these are still active, youll get limp mode.
