BMW Connected Drive features - which are worth paying for?

BMW Connected Drive subscription is expiring. Which features are actually worth renewing? Currently have: - Real Time Traffic Info - Remote Services (lock/unlock from app) - Concierge Services - Online Entertainment The subscription is 200 EUR/year. Is it worth it or can I live without it? The traffic info is nice but Google Maps does the same thing for free.

Remote services (lock/unlock, climate control) are worth it imo. Real-time traffic is nice but you can use Waze for free. The concierge service is useless. Apple CarPlay used to be a subscription but BMW made it free now. If you have an older car, you can code some features to work without the subscription using E-Sys.

Most Connected Drive features can be activated with FSC codes if your car supports them. Navigation map updates, for example, can be done with the right FSC code instead of paying BMW for the subscription. Check what your car supports before paying for subscriptions.
