Ill start: the E90 M3 with the V8 is overrated. Yes the S65 sounds amazing but the car is heavy, the rod bearings are a ticking time bomb, and a tuned N54 335i is faster for half the price.

Fight me. Whats your unpopular BMW opinion?

the new G80 M3 looks fine. there I said it. the big grille grew on me and in person the car looks aggressive. everyone who hates it has never seen one in real life in a dark color.

BMWs are not unreliable. They just need maintenance that people dont want to pay for. If you maintain them properly theyre as reliable as any Japanese car. The problem is people buy them used and skip maintenance.

the F10 5 series is a better drivers car than the F30 3 series. better balanced, more comfortable, and with the N55 its just as fast. the 3 series tax is real - people pay more for a worse car just because "3 series"

BMW should have never stopped making naturally aspirated inline 6 engines. The N52 was the peak of BMW engine design. Turbos add power but take away character.

Yes I know im old lol

automatic transmissions are better than manual in every modern BMW. the ZF 8-speed is literally perfect. manuals are fun but the auto is objectively better in every way - faster shifts, better fuel economy, more comfortable.

manual purists are living in the past
