Bimmercode vs E-Sys - which should I learn?

Want to start coding my F30. Bimmercode seems easier but E-Sys seems more powerful. Which one should I invest time learning?

I want to do things like:

  • Digital speedo
  • Folding mirrors on lock
  • Sport displays
  • Disable auto start-stop default
  • Ambient lighting colors

Can Bimmercode do all of this or do I need E-Sys for some?

i use both. bimmercode for quick stuff, e-sys for anything complex. they complement each other well

Bimmercode can do all of those things you listed. Its much easier than E-Sys. I coded my entire F30 with Bimmercode in about 30 minutes.

E-Sys is more powerful but the learning curve is steep. If you just want basic coding mods, Bimmercode is the way to go. If you want to do advanced stuff like module swaps or retrofits, learn E-Sys.
