Compiled a list of popular E-Sys coding mods for G20/G21:

  1. Ambient lighting unlock (all colors)
  2. Digital speedo always on
  3. M Performance displays in iDrive
  4. Start-stop memory (remembers last setting)
  5. Seatbelt warning disable
  6. Speed limit warning disable
  7. Auto high beam sensitivity adjustment
  8. Exhaust sound enhancement adjustment
  9. Daytime running light coding
  10. Welcome light carpet activation

All tested on my G20 330i with CAFD 00000B89. Let me know if you need specific FDL values for any of these.

    Great resource! One thing to add - for G20 you need E-Sys 3.33+ with PSdZData 4.32 or newer. Older versions wont have the correct FDL files for G series. Also make sure to create a backup of every module before you change anything. I bricked my headunit once and the backup saved me.

    For anyone new to E-Sys on G20: the most popular codings are digital speedo (HU_MGU > 3040 TACHO), folding mirrors on lock (BDC_BODY > MIRROR_FOLDING), and disabling auto start-stop default (DME > START_STOP_DEFAULT). These are all safe and reversible.
