Downpipe install on F30 - how hard is it DIY?

Want to install a catless downpipe on my F30 335i for stage 2. How difficult is this as a DIY job? I have basic tools and a jack. Main concerns: - Do I need to drop the exhaust? - Are the bolts usually seized? - Do I need a lift or can I do it on jack stands? Any tips from people who have done this?

i did mine in my driveway on jack stands. took about 4 hours. the turbo bolts were the worst part. definitely soak them in PB Blaster beforehand

Downpipe install on F30 is doable on jack stands but its tight. The hardest part is the bolts connecting to the turbo - they can be seized. Use penetrating oil the night before.
